Creating a Project in Laiwyer.ai
Projects in Laiwyer.ai help you group related legal research into organized folios. In this guide, we’ll show you how to create a new project from start to finish.
From the left menu, click Projects.
- You’ll land on the Projects dashboard. If you’re new, it will show No projects found.
💡 Tip: You can view All, Active, or Archived projects using the tabs at the top.
- Click the + Add Folio button in the top-right corner.
- A pop-up form titled Add Folio will appear.
- Fill in the project details:

- Name: Enter a clear project name (e.g., Labour laws).
- Description: Add a short summary of what this project covers.
- Jurisdiction: Select the relevant country or region (e.g., Qatar).
- Due Date: Choose a completion date using the calendar picker.
- Click Create to save your folio.
- The new project will now appear on the Projects dashboard showing:
- Description
- Due date
- Progress bar
- Tasks and files count.
Your project is now ready. You can start adding tasks and files or simply use it as a container to organize your research.
