Using the History Section

The History section in Laiwyer.ai is your personal archive of past research chats. It lets you quickly revisit previous queries, review answers, or clean up old conversations when you no longer need them. Here’s how to get the most out of it.

• From the left-side menu, click History. 

• You’ll see a list of all your past chat sessions, organized by title and date.

Tip: Session titles are automatically generated from the main question you asked, making it easy to identify each conversation.

• Use the search bar at the top-right to quickly find a specific chat.
• Type in keywords that match the session title or the topic you discussed.
• Click on any listed session to open it.
• You’ll be taken back to the full conversation, including the AI’s detailed legal answers and citations.
• To remove all previous sessions, click Clear History at the top-right.
• This permanently deletes your saved chats and cannot be undone.

⚠️ Call-out: Use Clear History carefully—once deleted, these records can’t be recovered.

The History section helps you keep track of your legal research and quickly return to any chat whenever you need it. Whether you’re reviewing a previous legal opinion or clearing space, it’s all just one click away.
