- Start with the Chat Input
On the Laiwyer dashboard, begin by entering your legal question in the chat box. You can write naturally in English or Arabic.

Laiwyer recognizes legal language and instantly begins processing your query.
2. Choose Your Research Assistant
Below the chat bar, you can select one of two assistants:
- Legal Research Assistant – Offers quick responses with relevant legal citations.
- Advanced Research Assistant – Delivers more comprehensive, multi-layered answers with citations.
Select the assistant based on how detailed you want your response to be.
3. Set Your Jurisdiction
Before submitting your query, use the jurisdiction dropdown to choose where the AI should search. Available options include:
- Qatar
- UAE
- Saudi Arabia
- Egypt
This ensures your results are specific to the correct legal system.
4. Read Responses and Check Sources
Once your question is answered, you'll see a detailed response along with citations linked to the original legal sources.
Click any citation to view the full law text that supports the answer.
5. Use Citation Tools
Each citation has a three-dot menu (⋯) next to it. Clicking it gives you useful options:
- Open in New Tab
- Download the Document
- Save to Folio for later
- Search This Topic in Another Jurisdiction
These tools help you manage and extend your research as needed.
